1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Start From Nowhere's websites, applications, and services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
• One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

• Paid plans (monthly or annual) renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account page; access continues through the end of the paid period.
• Prices are shown before checkout and may change with notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
• The score-improvement guarantee is described in its own terms; refunds under the guarantee are the exclusive remedy it provides.

4. Your data

To power adaptive study plans, we collect your answers, pace, scores, and usage of the Services. This data is used to personalize your practice, estimate your score, and improve the Services. Details, retention periods, and your rights (access, export, deletion) are set out in the Privacy Policy. You can download or delete your data from your account page at any time.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't share, scrape, resell, or republish practice content or explanations.
• Don't use the Services to cheat on an actual exam administration or violate any test-maker's rules.
• Don't attempt to probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Services.

6. Intellectual property

The Services, including all practice questions, explanations, software, and branding, are owned by Start From Nowhere or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your own exam preparation.

7. AI-generated content

Some practice content, explanations, and recommendations are generated with AI. They can contain errors. They are study aids, not guarantees of exam content or outcomes — always verify against official test-maker materials.

8. Third-party marks

GMAT is a trademark of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). GRE is a trademark of ETS. LSAT is a trademark of LSAC. MCAT is a trademark of the AAMC. None of these organizations endorses or is affiliated with Start From Nowhere.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant any particular exam result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Start From Nowhere's total liability for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
